For the Municipality of Chiuduno (BG), Studio Capoferri handled the structural design of the new urban separate-waste collection centre (recycling island), built under a public contract with Servizi Comunali SpA as client.
The studio was responsible for the structural scope of the works: foundation design, reinforced-concrete elements (bases and perimeter walls) and the steel frame — lattice columns and roof trusses — through to the detailing needed for site erection.
Together, the reinforced concrete and steelwork form a clear, lightweight facility suited to a municipal service and to the peri-urban Bergamo setting.
